See-Through Blonde/Gold JM w/ Matching Headstock

All I can say is I'm drooling... Blonde with a matching headstock is absolutely killer. With gold hardware to boot!

Re: See-Through Blonde/Gold JM w/ Matching Headstock
I thiiink it's a real 2008 Fender Custom Shop guitar (?).
- "Something Fernder (sic) did not do" means, I think, in the 60s
(because, if Fender made this one, then didn't Fernder did do it?)
- "was our 1st production..." means, I think, that this particular guitar shop, The Guitar Broker, has commissioned
more than one of these (but calling it a production guitar is not really right)
edit: For some strange reason, "specularly" doesn't happen to be confusing to me!

I was late to the white blonde/gold guard party, but recently picked up a Japanese Jazzmaster like this and love the look now. I love a matching headstock also, so that is a great bonus on this one. The gold hardware looks cool too, but it is a bit too much with the gold guard IMO.

I'm glad it's in as-new Relic'd condition.

I've been in contact with Wildwood guitars last weeks and they are gonna have a series of White Blonde Jazzmaster Thin skins w/anodized pickguard this year.
They are thinking of new colors til 2019, only non-metallic.

Boo hiss. Metallics are the best. Although I would love a Fiesta Red JM with matching headstock and a real green nitrate guard (a lot of the more recent CS Strats and also the '59 American Vintage Reissue Strat had 'proper' celluloid guards... not made of vinyl and tinted/aged.). Would really like to see the real stuff used on the new JMs too. They are thinking of new colors til 2019, only non-metallic.
