American Performer Jazzmaster
Just seen this, looks like a new model of jazzmaster with no rhythm circuit and a strat trem, figured you guys might know a bit more. Would post the ebay auction but not sure on the rules regarding that so erred on the side of caution.

Somewhat curious.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/ALL-NEW-Fender ... 3243425198
Seller has no ebay feedback. But shows Fender Certificate of Authenticity.
Strange lack of other info on the model number 0115210384 though. But serial number US18065147 checks out as American Performer with Fender ...

I would prefer the Mma Doheny over it, simply for the Trem

That thing fucking sucks.
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

I'm all for it, and this is what the Jagmaster should've been from the get-go. It might not be for the lot of us, but I can see the appeal for non-offset players who want in on the whole thing. We already have a bunch of options as is, and the lot of you remember what it was like 5-10 years ago.

What's up with the trem arm hole?
The American Professional would be more tempting if it had this location for the toggle switch.

Re: American Performer Jazzmaster
I'm past being bothered by un-traditional Jazzmasters. There are now enough options for those of us who want a traditional flavored Jazzmaster that anyone can have one that wants one- they're at all price points. I used to be inclined to take offense at such unpure-ness, but I no longer say 'ewww gross' when something a bit deviant comes out. I have 'stock' spec. Jazzmasters/Jaguars- so if I buy another one it will need to be different anyway; this is a better way into a Strat trem than a Strat.
Plus if I really do get an urge to be pedantic, I'd still rather have this than say a 'traditional' Jazzmaster nerfed by a Tune-O-Matic, and I'd rather get caught playing this than a Jazzmaster with all the usual mods/snake oil upgrades taken to circumvent someone's naive user error. On paper I'd still rather pick up a Doheny unless I played them side by side and this was way better- But I like it.

King Buzzo: I love when people come up to me and say “Your guitar sound was better on Stoner Witch, when you used a Les Paul. “...I used a Fender Mustang reissue on that, dumbass!
