When are we getting some of these out in the US wild? I have a set of JM pickups waiting to be put into one of these! :)

There have been no announcements of any intention to release this model in North America.

Medium jumbo frets with 9.5" radius. The color is a little dull for me. It says it has US made pickups, and looking at the bevels on the magnets I'd say there's a fair chance that they're the '62 re-issues.

I'm not sure about the Jazzmaster but I know that the Strat and Tele in the Japanese hybrid range have American Vintage spec pickups in them. Hence why they call them hybrid; they are Japanese built with US pickups.

Man, I still can't stop thinking about this guitar. Anyone have any thoughts on how modern Japanese Fenders are stacking up these days? I've been bit by the maple-necked JM bug so I was looking into the Am-Pros but this is giving me serious questions.
