Single coil sized humbuckers in a Jag

I have a ‘90’s MIJ Jag that I’m thinking about swapping the pickups out on. Not really looking for super hot output. Humbuckers might be a fun option for less noise but I don’t want to route the body at this stage. A few options around. SD Little 59’s, SD JB Jr, Hotrails...

Anyone using single coil sized humbuckers in their Jag? What’s worked for you and what hasn’t. Decent clarity would be a bonus ( as much as humbuckers can be).

I had for a while a CIJ Jaguar I modded with SD little '59s. It was absolutely great, way rounder and warmer but still with the classic jaguar strong attack. You can hear it here (it was tuned to C#): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUmZvdAxFH0
