Does anyone know for a good replacement for the rather cheap looking and feeling black toggle tip on my AP? It doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the guitar.

Fender seem to have reverted to that black Tele style tip after using the chrome 0018359010 on the Marr ...

But no one seems to be selling the Marr part as an aftermarket part. But there are these ...

My Johnny Marr (-ish) Jag has a Jazzmaster-style toggle switch, but if I ever do one with a Tele-style blade switch I will have no qualms about paying $28 for a metal switch tip from Glendale — it seems silly (and is silly) but the plastic switch tip was the one detail that made my old Tele feel cheap, and a piece of cold metal with a screw to fasten it to the blade made a big difference. And their plastic ones have screw fasteners as well.

Check AllParts or StewMac for replacement stuff. Should be pretty cheap.

I've bought some tips from this place. They fit nice.
