My money is on the Fiesta Red tort one.

I feel these interviews are leading up to something...
Hopefully we get a Kevin Shields sig Jazzmaster, and if we are lucky, maybe a Bilinda Butcher Jaguar or Mustang. We can only hope. Id be interested to see if they can do something to emulate the taped trem others mentioned.

Oh! Before these two videos were released, I imagined Kevin as a sort of pretentious guy or something. But now I see he's very down to earth, actually.

Since they just released a fiesta red with tort for the 60th anniversary, I don't think they'd do another one.
I still don't think a signature will happen, but I'd bet on the candy apple red with tort. I think that's the one that most people will associate with him.
Jaguar > Jazzmaster :)

Hopefully, based on the little snippet of "New 2" at the end of the newest video, any hopeful person would conclude the following...new album out by August!!! But that's probably all that will come out of these things apart from some wonderful footage.

If making babies listen to Mozart is supposed to make them smarter, imagine what the Loveless studio sessions would do to a colony of chinchillas.

Have you guys seen Ready Player One? Shields is a dead ringer for Halliday.

I always think people who like animals a fairly good sign of being on the normal side of the spectrum!loveinathens wrote: ↑Fri Jul 27, 2018 9:08 pmIdk, he seems pretty dorky to me. Seems to really like animals too.
I recently read several articles/interviews all published from the late nineties onwards that helped unravel what they were doing all those years.
It sounds like a large chunk of the nineties was a combination of writer's block and not having much money. Combine that with some pretty bad luck, periods depression and falling out with labels. From what I gather, things got a lot better for them after they reformed both artistically and financially.
Alan Moulder did a great interview that explained how they worked on Loveless and is pretty detailed (when Moulder was there). I'll dig out the links and repost.
