Logan Custom Guitars
Did a search but found no mention of this brand here. These look like a good deal to me. This guy specializes in Teles but he has a few JMs available. I like this color. He told me he will make a Jag.
I dig this yellow one:
Specifications:
• 22 medium jumbo frets, 9.5 radius, 1-11/16” nut, Amber tinted, satin nitro finished maple neck.
• Vintage split shaft tuners, (15-1 ratio)
• Alder body finished in 50’s (TV Yellow) with 100% nitrocellulose lacquer. No grain fillers, Some grain texture.
• Standard bridge and tremolo.
• Seymour Duncan Antiquity 50’s custom shop pickups with white covers.
• 3 way toggle switch, 250K CTS pots, .047 sprague tone cap, Master volume and tone.
• 3 ply black pick guard.
• Professional setup with D’Addario 10-46 strings.
• Weighs 7 pounds, 10 Oz.
Price: $1099.00 or best offer.

Re: Logan Custom Guitars
There's discussion of his work at the TDPRI. I looked at it and decided to have a friend build mine instead. I bet his guitar would have been awfully good too.

Re: Logan Custom Guitars
Over on the TDPRI, Logan Tele owners seem to be quite happy and I'm sure the JM clone would be nice.
For that amount of money, I'd probably buy a 60s Classic Jazzmaster (or Jag) and install an AVRI trem. Future resale would be better (if that's a consideration) and I think overall quality would be comparable. Fender would have the rhythm circuit and hardshell case as well. I also don't care for the body having no grain filler.

I saw that thread. IT was very long so I didn't read a whole lot of it. Mostly just a lot of praise.
Was there something you saw that swayed you to get one built elsewhere?

You don't get the nitro finish with the 60s classic do you? That is part of the attraction for me.jdr1014 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 22, 2018 4:35 amOver on the TDPRI, Logan Tele owners seem to be quite happy and I'm sure the JM clone would be nice.

For the money I'd go for something more vintage accurate but that's just me.

Yeah it is missing a lot of the cool electronics. I'm going to see if he is willing to put them in a custom piece.

Yes, the Fender 60's models are nitro lacquer finish and come with the excellent AV 65 pickups.DWO wrote: ↑Fri Jun 22, 2018 4:56 amYou don't get the nitro finish with the 60s classic do you? I didn’t realize that. That does make these less attractivejdr1014 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 22, 2018 5:19 amYes, the Fender 60's models are nitro lacquer finish and come with the excellent AV 65 pickups.DWO wrote: ↑Fri Jun 22, 2018 4:56 amYou don't get the nitro finish with the 60s classic do you? As for price, if you should want to order online, MF (and possibly others) will likely have a July 4th sale for 10% to 15% off...….

Re: Logan Custom Guitars
The Lacquer 60's can be had from many online Dealers from 15-20% most of the time. It may require some calling & haggling. But the deals are there.
They also come with a Fender Hard Case. These Guitars are hard to beat.
CME was getting some FSR Colors a while ago. Worth checking into also.
Sweetwater gives the best descriptions including photos of the actual Guitar & it's weight.
