I've seen these are starting to get listed on online shops in the US too... anxiously waiting for the reviews to start coming in. Did you end up picking yours up?
Very glued and greasy reverb sound

Yes I did - verdict:

good points:
great solid case - not as good as a g&g but in black and sturdy vintage style
finish is very good - no dodgy frets
action great straight out the box
daphne blue is a great colour and the tort has a reddish tinge so goes really well
neck is comfy and playable
good weight - not too heavy

bad points
not really sure on those pickups?
the guitar sounds great unplugged very resonant but the pickups leave me a bit cold - not quite sure what they are but compared to other jazzmasters I have they seemed a bit "nothing"

I might stick a pair of mojo pick ups in and see if that's better

plus i'd change the bridge to a staytrem pretty sharpish

I've got a black one on preorder, glad to hear they've arrived in the UK! Would you be willing to post some pictures?

Picking up my guitar tomorrow evening, I'll post some photos when I get home, but a guy I know in the store sent some photos and it looks brilliant. Hope OP is enjoying theirs!

I expressed interest in a paisley Fender Japan Jazzmaster at a guitar shop a wee while back but not seem them. Maybe August they told me.

When I ordered my guitar I was told to expect August, but that Fender often send their stuff a bit early, I had a look at the same site I ordered my guitar off of, and they say September for the paisley Japanese jazzmaster. It's pretty far from an exact science, but it may arrive in the first week of August, since we're still about 3 weeks away from August, and that's this guitar arrived. Lot of assumptions there, biggest being that you're in the UK, but that'd be my bet!

Those Paisley Jazzmasters are lovely btw, a Decomb Design guard on either the blue or pink would look brilliant!

They do look good and will have to try one. A U neck with rosewood fretboard too! It's going to be that or an old Jaguar if I can find one that's not been messed with.

Well just had my 60th Limited triple pickup JM turn up - on opening the case first thoughts were - wow!

However, I seem to have a slight build issue in that the neck pickup is loose and the screws have fallen out in transit - despite being QC checked by my UK guitar shop who supplied the guitar! its also strung with 9's which seems odd - the Fender specs say 10's . I'm going to restring it and whilst the strings are off see if I can sort the neck pickup - apart from that it feels a good weight, the neck is nice and all the documentation comes in a nice Fender zip up pencil case type bag rather than a plastic bag - one other gripe - the case is a tweed style case... I hate tweed cases!!

And in case anyone is interested..... the Triple humbuckers ROCK! Played last night through a VOX Ac10 and wow - with the gain turned up the guitar is a beast - fantastic scuzzed up overdrive sound - add a bit of reverb and you're into proper shoegaze territory. The mini selector switch is a nice touch and doesn't get in the way at all - unlike the 5 position switch which I found did get in the way a bit - but perhaps that's just my playing? NIce selection of tones too - rolling off the volume really opens up the sounds when in the mid position.

Yes, MiM Classic Players have them and also American Professional models. It works great actually, and when it does not, you just ave to get the right spring and slide it in. The tremolo bar will then stay in whatever position you leave it or want it.
