Mustang Recommendations

So I might be a bit uneducated about what they're selling. Are these new Japanese makes unless otherwise noted?

Ishibashi is a musical instruments chain, not to be compared/equalled to the market leaders in the US though ;-)
They're not allowed to export new Fender guitars though (there are still some Fenders being made in japan), but you can buy used ones:

I recently acquired a vintage mustang for a song on eBay and it has become my favorite guitar. The floating tremolo is the smoothest I've encountered on a fender and is super stable. Pickups sound amazing too. I would highly recommend a vintage one. You can find examples for $1200 or under on eBay or reverb if you look hard enough.

This one looks great. You can have the original pickups rewound or replaced.

I'm gonna save up some bucks and probably spring for a vintage Mustang later this year. I've never owned a vintage guitar and it seems like a Mustang is a good/"affordable" place to start.

I highly recommend it. In the current state of the market, a vintage mustang is a steal and is worth the slight difference in cost from a new one!

I bought a Squier VM Mustang recently. Really nice guitar apart from the bridge which is complete junk. How it was ever allowed to leave the factory with that bridge I'll never know. Otherwise it's a great guitar.

I wonder what ordering Japanese Fenders is like given the whole rosewood thing these days. Mine were from Japan back in the day.

Though I'm selling them to buy MIM.
