Is anyone familiar with how the Mexican road worn guitars are finished? Are they done by hand or machine? I've always been curious as to how it's been done, i really like the road worn guitars.
I’m only asking because I’m curious as to why the relic job on my Kurt Cobain Jaguar is slightly different to all the pics I’ve seen online when I’ve compared them?
+ I know everyone on here will have seen it before but i'll insert some pics because who doesn't like looking at guitars right?
It’s a brilliant guitar that's not just for Nirvana fans!

I’m not sure if I’ve noticed on the road worn jags, but on the road worn series of strats and teles the wear pattern, location, and the level of aging seems to be exactly the same. The road worn jags and jazzmasters aren’t as obviously relicd to me as the aged strat and tele counterparts but I would be surprised if they were manually done

Neither, according to PETA they are reliced by two man...err...animal teams comprising a specially bred beaver working in tandem with a woodpecker.

The way I have heard they do it is by placing a template over the body and wiping a paint thinner over it
