NGD: CIJ Jazzmaster w/upgrades

Another reason I would want the 900 upgraded CIJ over the MIM one is the neck shape. Japanese neck shapes are my favorite. I am fine with US or MIM, but there is something about a Japanese Fender neck that always makes me happier.

My 2006 CIJ JM has very different neck shape (fatter) to an early 90s MIJ I have played.

Just mentioning it incase anyone goes looking for a CIJ Jazzmaster because they like the necks on the earlier Japanese offsets.

I thought that with the Mastery Bridge and Trem, along with the Antiquities, that it was a pretty solid deal. You guys agree?

btw yep thats a great deal. In the UK Japanese offsets are going for £800 or more with no upgrades. I've seen the rarer ones with B&B etc listed for up to £1200 !! Not sure if anyone would pay that much for them though, seems WAY overpriced to me.

This one arrived - and it is terrific. Plays well, pickups sound great, and the Mastery vibrato is AWESOME.

Having said that - it's going to head over to the For Sale section shortly, as I've got a chance to get back a guitar I should NEVER have sold a while back and this one's got to go so I can get my hands on some cash.
