no, it's not a fender.
well, i'm not sure if it is correct to define that guitar as an offset...
the waist is not symmetrical, but at the same time it's not that offset...

Yeah, Firebird is my guess, too.
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

no, it's not a firebird.
what we know so far:
- american made
- offset-ish
- not a coronado
- not a fender
- not a firebird
new hint:
- it's a boutique guitar
(when you get tired of all this, let me know and i'll post pics)

Considering these forums and the people on it, I'm going to assume it's a Kauer, bilt, or fano... hoping it's not that prs offset... kinda like it to be a titan kr1... I want to hear about their stuff.
What is acoustic? Oh, you means a grandpa's guitars? A grandpa's guitars? That's for pussies and grandpas. I think you know it.

Also could be a rhoney...but I'm guessing that's less likely than my previous 3 suggestions.

(i knew boutique was going to be more than a simple hint).
i have not received it yet, but i really can't wait!
i've found a decent 2nd hand deal (sorry Dougk, i really mean that), in UK, so it was a no brainer for me UE citized to go that route (no customs, no expencive shipment, no long waits).
btw, now that we know it is a titan kr1, would you guys define these guitars as offsets?

Nothing simple about it... I did a lot of work. Looked at your profile, saw you were in italy, went to ebay.it to check which boutiques are available in your area, cross referenced that info with a list of American boutique Luthiers then narrowed it to the one that wasn't offset but looked like it should be.biro wrote:

Which pickup configuration did you get? Bigsby? No bigsby?

To be fair... titan is only half American. Doug said he only wanted to put the kauer name on American instruments so they came up with titan as a line to compete in the $1200 market. Here's a great thread:

pickup configuration is two lollar P90, bridge is top load hardtail bridge with tele style barrel saddles.
about the guitar being only half american, i think you might be wrong.
doug takes care of the manufacturing of the body, while necks are manufactured by another trusted luthier located in california. infact, those guitars are not only made in USA, those are actually made in california (as stated on titan guitars' web site).
i hope i'll get my hands on mine within this week.
here's the link to the reverb listing for some pics:
