2 is the correct number of pickups and the correct number of pickups is 2.
Being well dressed is never any indication of a person's possible inadequacies as a human. Being poorly dressed, however, often is.

HAHAHAHA. And boo to the switch.

Although, if this is real, it is nice to see that Fender is going a bit wild and all over the place for JM 60th.

huh..... Another in the "Alternate Reality" line? Or is it "Parallel Universe"?

Anyway - Interesting, to me at least, but it depends on how they do the switching.

I love the look of this. Probably the only 'new' Fender I'd consider buying this year, assuming the pickups sound great.

The cool thing about fretless is you can hit a note...and then renegotiate.

I don't like humbuckers in JMs in the first place, but I have NEVER tried a 3xHB guitar I have liked. Middle position HBs, and the combinations of middle HB and neck or bridge HB just don't work for me.

:D
But the holy text says: Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out...

Except for Marauders, I dont usually like 3 pickup guitars...

This one looks alright to me, or at least not as abominable as some of the other stuff, that we are seeing from Fender.
If i ever list my gear in this space, it means we're back in 1998.
