NGD CAR Vista Jagmaster

Post by HNB » Sun Jan 14, 2018 11:41 am

Got this in trade from benji. He got the black telemaster. :)

I really like it. Stock pickups sound good. Pots and toggle work great. Neck has that awesome Japanese feel to it that I really enjoy. Nice dark fretboard also. I cleaned it with some wood oil and put 11's on it. I dig it! (I know some are against it, but I am going to sticker it up. It is reversible later, but it seemed like a great guitar to get some stickers.)

necks on these are QUALITY.

came out of the same factory assembly line that produced the Fender Jaguar, Mustang, and Jag-Stang necks of the era costing 200 or so more.

when they first came out these were 600 bucks. the Jag Stang was 600, Mustang 650 and the Jaguar was 800. a Standard Strat was 400 bucks.

kids were NOT buying this thing when mom and dad could save 200 bucks and get a guitar with a Fender decal on the headstock

Ah, really would love to have this one (or the blue one) to finish my collection of strange fenders of the nineties... :w00t: :? ;D
