Don't forget the minimal contouring and authentically reduced QC on neck pocket fit!
Will yours have a gap? Will it be slightly off-center? AV75,
Authentically Inconsistent(TM).
And the half-inch-thick plastic finish!
(I have a '79 25th Anniversary Strat with a neck pocket gap so bad you can actually stash a pick in it. Weirdly, it's a great guitar.)

Again some ugly special guitar.
Where's the left handed Jazzmasters or Jaguars? At least on Squier and no Kurt Cobain signature.
Shame on you Fender.

Really wish they'd have done the Stone Roses guy Jag-Strat - that guitar might be perfect, but I honestly like both of the trem-equipped guitars. The only thing about the Jag-Strat that's annoying is that little bit of extra pick guard on the bottom horn.
Make these things for like $500 and I'd be there, but won't be able to afford them otherwise. Surprised to see so much hate in here. While it's not exactly what I wanted it's not a Fabrige Strat or something insane either.

That reminds me, we haven't seen what the Custom Shop is planning for limited edition this year. I hope it will be a Faberge Jaguar.
All pain and troubles melted away like lemon drops beyond the contrails across the sky.

That JM Tele is basically all I ever wanted. But ugly.

I want a 70s Jazzmaster... B&B, black pickguard, northern ash body, 10.5 lbs...
Not sure if you're kidding or not, but I couldn't get my wallet out fast enough for B&B JMs & Jags.

I'd seriously love a B&B JM with vintage electronics and 6105 frets, and I really do like the black pickguards. (I have 2 late-'70s Strats with black pickguards; a JM would fit right in.)
Mostly I was joking about Fender in the 70s... the weight, the neck pocket, etc.

I may be flip flopping a little bit, but I dont really understand the need for a modern neck on a 60s offset reissue. Really un-enthused about these new mashup guitars and the general direction of Fender's product lines. There is no way I would spend 4-5k just to get vintage specs on a guitar.

here it is done properly
What is acoustic? Oh, you means a grandpa's guitars? A grandpa's guitars? That's for pussies and grandpas. I think you know it.

The Jazz Tele... I have always wanted exactly that guitar and now they are doing it wrong. The proportions make it look like a home built leftover Partscaster. I have seen so many original designs by people on this board that are so much more beautiful than anything Fender has come up with in the last 5 years...

The trouble-maker tele is giving me the blues. Seriously, not the worst looking guitar - that's the one on the far right.
