Nice! Finally another color besides surf green and the RW sunburst, although I would personally prefer a non-matching headstock — definitely not a dealbreaker, though.

I just went into CME to play it. Rad guitar. Definitely the best JM for the money IMO. Hate the neck profile though... And the tort sucks. Otherwise great guitar.

What would be the price on this one, does anyone know? In the RW / 60s lacquer range perhaps?

Can't imagine why it wouldn't be. Assuming all the other specs/components/features are the same as the existing Surf Green and Sunburst models, I can't imagine such a common color (even with the painted, matching headstock) commanding some nutty, unexpected premium. But if it's some sort of "special" limited run, I guess that'll justify any sort hope/plan-crushing pricing.

Fingers crossed nobody at Fender has lost their minds on this one.

It's very attractive. That's probably my all-time favorite, "never gets old" Fender look. Never looks dated, never goes out of style, never looks like it's "trying too hard", understated and classy, etc. It looked amazing in 1962. It looks great in 2017. And people will still be buying it 50 years from now. You simply can't go wrong with Olympic White with tortoise shell.

I've checked (and received official confirmation)... ;)

It's priced at $999.00 if I remember correctly... Comes with a hardshell case.

1K with a hard case is a good price, imo. This will be an interesting one to consider.

About time there was something other than green in this model. Already have a white/tort JM with matching headstock so this is not something that appeals to me, but it's a classic combo and probably has wider appeal than the surf green.
The artist formerly known as mbene085.

Anybody have a link for the actual announcement? Can’t seem to find it. I’d like to read through all the questions and answers about this. I’m considering pulling the trigger.

Edit:
Nevermind, found it on Instagram.

If I didn't already have an Oly White AV65 I'd jump on that like right now!

Not seeing it on their Website though?

^^^It looks like you have to call or email them about it at the moment. I didn't see it either on their website.

Yeah, or even LPB.

Looks like they still used that nasty spray tan tinted stuff on the back of the neck though.
