What is your favorite Amp for your Jags & JM's?
We always talk about our Jags & JM's but not so much what Amps we pair them with.
I'm curious what Amps you all pair your Jags & JM's with? Also which model Guitar you plug into those Amps?
I have been running my AV65 Jag & AV65 JM Stereo via a Keeley 30 ms Double Tracker Pedal to either my Fender 65 DRRI & Vox AC15CC1X ( Celestion Alnico Blue) or my Fender 65 RI Princeton Reverb & Vox AC10C1 (w/Greenback). I mostly use the Abbey Mode Setting & it's Stereo Double Tracked Sound is very realistic. It can also be setup for great Reverbs, Delays, Chorus & Slapback Echo combinations of Stereo Sounds make this Pedal extremely versatile & the a Sound is great.

Most members run through fender amps.
Personally I prefer my jc-120. I have several tube amps but I like the pristine clean tone of my jag thru the jazz chorus.

What is acoustic? Oh, you means a grandpa's guitars? A grandpa's guitars? That's for pussies and grandpas. I think you know it.

Probably my all time favorite amp for offset use is my Thomas Organ era Vox Cambridge Reverb. Like this one: https://reverb.com/item/75427-vox-cambr ... k-all-tube
Sonically sort of a Princeton meets Vox flavor. It has the spookiest reverb which sounds great with a volume pedal and some tremolo arm action. It's 12 watts and a single 10" so it does tend to fall apart if you push the low end too much at band volumes.
I know I've raved about it in other threads, but the At Mars Specialist I picked up a few months ago is still knocking my socks off. It loves Jazzmasters and lipstick tube guitars. I've dialed the pedal gain way back since getting this amp.

JCM800.
Set for some gain, gets absolutely underrated clean(ish) tone with guitar volume rolled back. Very responsive. Mid-heavy, which complements the scooped mids of a jag, JM, or Mustang (I use all 3).

That pedal looks pretty neat. I think it's the same double tracking thing keeley uses on the Memphis Sun? I love that effect, I'd totally plug a mic in and go all John Lennon
I don't have much to add to amp thing, I play my jag through my Princeton reverb 78' or silvertone 1482

Rivera Venus 3, no pedals- no need for them. Class A 15 Watt 6V6 Tube amp. I can cut power to 7 watts, and I also have a foot-switchable and adjustable gain boost. It has 3 band equalization and a scoop switch so I can get "Vintage Tweed" and "Black Face" tones all day long. It also has an Accutronics 3-Spring Reverb Tank built in. It is a 1x12, with a 12" Celestion G12 Heritage 30 speaker. If I wanted to run effects, it has an effects loop. Also a line out to slave another amp, or record at line level. It also has a second speaker out if I wanted to stack it on an external cab. Old school with all the modern flexibility and built like a brick outhouse!

Re: What is your favorite Amp for your Jags & JM's?
I recently saw a great band (Tobin Sprout) play using two of these amps...
A Tele and a Jazzmaster through these and it sounded FANTASTIC. Wish I could play one. Apparently the colored tabs activate different tone settings. Super cool.

Oh shit, I didn’t know he was touring! Cool amp. I can see Tobin belting out some lo fi shit with Pollard singing drunken anthems.julius2790 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:39 amI recently saw a great band (Tobin Sprout) play using two of these amps...

My main amp is a 70's Selmer Treble & Bass 50 SV. It's loud and very clean which is ideal for running loads of pedals into.
