Great, thanks for the info. I've always loved orange and yellow guitars, and this orange hue nails it for me :-D

Btw. those look like staytrem trem arms on the mustangs? How are these? Have you changed the bridge as well (staytrem)?
Yes, I have staytrem arms on both. For me they are much better than the stock arm. And you don´t have the problem with a loose screw.
staytrem bridge: On the orange one I have a staytrem. The green one works also good with stock bridge. :)

I do see that one sometimes but I'm a sucker for matching headstocks, so I want the Beck one or nothing.
I understand. Get the Beck, yes! You´ll find one. I keep my eyes open also and give you a message if I see one somewhere. :)

You can't even complain about the poly finish since the originals had that too.
The poly they used to use, to me, might as well have been nitro because it still ages so well compared to the stuff they've been using for the past 30 years or so. I've seen a few MIJ finishes that have yellowed in pretty cool ways, but still never any checking or chipping or anything cool like that. I'd give anything to see Fender somehow use the same poly they were using in the late 60s. It's a bummer to know that I could own the guitars I own for like 40 years and they'll probably look exactly the same as they do now

YES!!!!

wait, what the hell is all that circuitry? I don't see any switches and there's only one knob (which I assume is for volume, but I could be wrong)

I don't know the full story. There are lights. There are a few Youtube videos, but I can't understand a word. It sounds like a guitar.
