Olympic White Road Worn JM
I'd be tempted by one of these at the right price...
I think it's interesting it comes with a buzzstop and that the rhythm switch is oriented at 90 degrees.
I also quite like the pearloid pickguard, though I think it would still look better with a decent tortoiseshell guard.
It's advertised as having a screw in vibrato arm as well? Seems unusual.
Anybody got one?

Looks good to me.
I'm glad there are a lot of guitar players pursuing technique as diligently as they possibly can, it leaves this whole other area open to people like me.

It's got the weird specs (buzz stop, rotated switch) because it's an Inoran signature model (the guitarist for Luna Sea). Since Inoran isn't well-known outside Japan, they seem to have decided to sell it in Europe as an FSR Road Worn.

Oh right! That's cool. Could it have investment potential then? Haha! I'm really scraping the barrell for reasons to buy it!
I can't find one for less than £950 though, which is very steep...

That looks very cool! I'd love to see that with a Maple Neck too. Not for USA?Deed_Poll wrote:I'd be tempted by one of these at the right price...

I played one in a store for 10 mins and totally loved it. Didn't buy it because I'm not that into the idea of buying a road worn, but then kinda regretted it.

I have no idea how common or uncommon these are in Japan, or how many Luna Sea fans there are abroad. But I agree that it's a really cool guitar so I can understand looking for an excuse to buy it. It's a shame they've shown no inclination toward bringing them to North America.Deed_Poll wrote:Oh right! That's cool. Could it have investment potential then? Haha!
