There was an immediate pattern of bristling at anyone's attempt to help him and name-calling of well-intentioned posters who gave him correct information. I think I read three different threads where he started insulting people who had just given him correct answers to his questions.

Some people just have a chip on their shoulder. One of the things I love about OSG is that everyone here is genuinely helpful. People still disagree but do it so politely here...even the most hotly-debated politics threads are downright civil compared to elsewhere.

I'm glad to see that the irony of this thread being about thin skins is not lost on my fellow forum members.
