Gosia guitars.

Nice relic jobs are rare. We all know Danocaster but there might be an alternative for european folks with Gosia guitars in Belgium.
Needs spitfire torts for sure!

Most relics are a total :k for me, and yet I like these, thanks for posting. Pretty convincing relicing plus a hotrodded vibe on some of them emulate the kind of vintage guitar I'd actually want to own- real old workhorses that have already been modded a bit, so a few more won't hurt. Love the Tele/Strat mashup bridge on the first one (always meant to try that myself on a Tele).

Different strokes I guess, not sure where the Danocaster comparison comes from - the first three look incredibly fake, like they've been left outside in the rain (the Strat reminiscent of a vomiting clown after a night on the turps and a 4AM kebab), and only the last one looks remotely 'realistic' as far as wear and tear goes.

I dislike relics in general and don't think these are very tastefully done. But this might be the single prettiest Telecaster color scheme I've ever seen. For that alone this guy deserves some credit.

I don't get the relic thing. It's like you're trying to be something you're not. It's fake.

And then to pay more for them? I'd rather buy a better Name Brand or even Boutique Guitar with better Pickups & all the other important features as well. I won't pay extra to have someone beat the crap out of a Guitar! I can do it myself for free!

The actual paint jobs are nice, but IMO the relicking is over the top. Too much. It looks like they were dragged down the road, rather than natural play wear.

Holy fuck, that Olympic-Banana-Pudding-over-sunburst strat. "hey guyz this is my first post, im 13 and i hevily modded my squire, i got my older brother to paint it coz he paints cars for a living and then i gave it a sooper authentic relic job but then my dad grounded me for using his power sander lolz. then i spent over £15 on a pizza tort pickguard, gold hardware, abaloney nobs and a fake fender decal coz its totally better than a fender now!"

^^^

:D

Horrid, there's no accounting for taste. Back in the 80's I used to look at all the horrible spandex pointy guitars and wonder how much further the guitar manufacturers could get into the land that taste forgot but the relic crew have truly gone where angels fear to tread. That tele custom looks like it's had a close encounter with a blowtorch.

I think it's a bit of a class or socio economic thing. I think if you grew up with money and lots of new stuff then knackered, neglected looking things probably seem novel, gritty and like the sort of thing romanticised grafters might have owned. Whereas for me paying more for a fake hand me down affair seems one of those ultimate first world problem.

All their guitars are not heavily reliced.
I find it strange that there is so much love for Danocaster or Mjt guitars over here... those are very much in the same range (to me).

^ Because the first few you posted looked utterly ridiculous, whereas those look more like old guitars.
