What is acoustic? Oh, you means a grandpa's guitars? A grandpa's guitars? That's for pussies and grandpas. I think you know it.

Funny you should say that, I was having a Skype chat with Mike Robinson a couple of years ago (owner of Eastwood and a great guy) and IIRC he saw a picture of that design on my desktop and remarked that it was "insanely similar" to something he had in the works with Jeff Senn. I guess we'll never know whether or not Jeff stumbled upon it in these pages, but I give him the benefit of the doubt because there are only so many ways to skin a cat after all. But I think my first post of that design was on here in Jan / Feb 2013? So I believe, long before the Model One was a twinkle in the milkman's eye.

To blow my own horn, I'm not too bothered by it because I still much prefer my design! But then I would, wouldn't I! :P

I bought an Eastwood Swinger when they got marked down, and it is the single worst crafted instrument I have ever owned.

Both are beautiful, well executed designs. However the inspiration for the body shape clearly goes back to a hand full of 1960's MIJ offsets.

I'm not a fan of Eastwoods. They feel really cheap and plasticky. And for the prices they're asking, you can pretty much get the real deals of the stuff they're cloning.

I have a several year old Warren Ellis tenor and the quality is really good on it. Mostly on par with a Japanese Fender in my estimation. The feel is nice and solid. Fretwork is super. I've no experience with any of their other products though.
