White Whale. Anybody know anything about these?
I have an amplifier listed for sale locally and I was offered this White Whale jazzmaster. I've never heard of them, and, as a person that reads this fine forum almost every day, that surprised me.
Does anybody have ant experience with these guitars? Any idea of value or marketability? I think it looks cool, but I'm also 100% sure it's not for me (see f-hole, red, various other unpopular opinions).

I think the inlay is a bit much, but personally, I LOVE the unique F-hole design and double binding. The red is ok (too Dakota for my tastes). Might be a cool refinish project, but I have never heard of them either. Did you try putting the brand into Reverb to see what comes up?

One result on reverb, nothing like this one. They have an excellent website and I'm guessing to buy this new it would push 2 grand. I guess my fear is of "brand I've never heard of handmade in Mexico" being a resale killer.

You will never ever ever get any good resale value from that-- just cheap lowball offers.

I hadn't noticed. That nut does look a little long.

It's for sure a solid guitar. Probably a killer guitar even, since they're trying to enter the market at such a high price point. But it looks cheap, like 70's Japanese copy-cheap, save for the F-hole and the inlay. Nah. I'd play it, but I wouldn't pay a lot for it.
