Hard-shell case for a Jazzmaster?
Hi all,
Question to Jazzmaster owners with a hard-shell case. The gig bag I used to carry my Jazzmaster in is starting to fall apart, so I'm looking for something new. Preferably a hard-shell case. However, as the Jazzmaster is a little bigger than the usual, what case would fit? Bonus points for when it's not too expensive and easily acquired in the EU!
Thanks so much!
Jacco
ps. if there is a better section for this post, admin, feel free to move it

The best Jazzmster case I've seen so far is the SKB case : http://www.keymusic.com/item/skb-1skb-6 ... hell-case/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Hard-shell case for a Jazzmaster?
Thanks all for your input! The SKB case looks like a great case indeed! Unfortunately my Jazzmaster is a lefty, so I contour fit won't work. Or can the interior be changed?
I did come across this case: https://www.thomann.de/nl/gator_gcelecx ... c_case.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Would anybody have experience with this one? I am not sure whether the body will fit..
Thanks!

I've heard that Hiscox cases are really good but I was unable to get one for a reasonable price in the USA. They are made in the UK so you might have better luck:
http://www.hiscoxcases.com/guitar-cases.htm
I ended up with an SKB case, which is very good quality. The only downside it that it is heavy. The Hiscox are lighter.

Hiscox cases are fantastic. I have one for my vintage Martin D-18. A little pricey but definitely road-worthy.

Gator cases for Jaguar/Jazzmaster.
And this is a heavy one Gator Electric Guitar Road Case. It also says that the Gator Electric Guitar Case fits Jazzmaster.
I'm not sure but is not a Jazzmasters overall lenght 41 inches? Then I'm sceptical about all exept the first Jaguar Case, even if the Gator page says it is a fit.
