That's a '58, right? So there's the TV, the theme for your new Jazzmaster, the car.... some nice mid-centuryness you have going on there.Soiouz wrote: This:

Yep, 1958 Plymouth.
Indeed, I am fascinated with mid-century design and have always been.

Well, her new old friend just joined in: 1962 Fender Bandmaster amp.
They sure look good together.. Cannot wait to get rid of the white pickguard on the Jazzmaster, though.

That looks incredible.
Though, I think you now need a matching Reverb Unit...

It's not really a new T.V.
The TV is a 1959 Philco Predicta Holiday. I had it rebuilt, and the chassis now works flawlessly... Except I busted the CRT the first day I got it back from the tech.. I've been looking for a good CRT for over a year now.
No, I believe it's a matter of too much power on one of the filaments or something... I am really not well versed in old TV technology, I am just trying to translate what my old tech told me.. Result is a very feeble signal and a small image projection in the middle of the screen, in a squarish shape.
Well, I finally found a parts TV after years of searching! Hope the CRT is good on this one, so I can finally have a working Predicta!
...oh, and the amp sounds fabulous!

Tort guard, even a reissue like this one, is already a big improvement over the stark white guard that the Road Worns come with.

Here is a portion of the collection as of now.... Geez.

Re: Long time offset-less.. back in the game!
Hey, thanks!
For those who wonder, yes there are offsets in there. If you look closely, there's a road worn Jazzmaster (that I have upgraded with real 1959 parts) and my 1994 MIJ Jaguar that I have had since ... well, 1994 and that has been upgraded so much so, that I think only the body, neck and control plates are original.
The rest of the guitar lineup is consisting of these:
1956 Gretsch Country Club
1965 Harmony Stratotone H49
1958 Silvertone (Danelectro) U-1
1992 Fender Stratocaster
1997 Gibson Les Paul
Amps, you say? Sorted by year of manufacture:
1942 Gibson EH-125
1950 Epiphone Electar Zephyr
1952 Gretsch Electromatic
1958 Silvertone Two-Twelve
1959 Magnatone Custom 280
1960 Fender Tremolux
1961 Fender Reverb unit
1963 Fender Bandmaster (sold two days ago...)
