I didn't realize they had a few new offerings. I actually dig the Combinata Junior. The logo is butt ugly, but I'm on board with just about everything else.

The top of the line models with the giant block inlays are just tacky. Seems like they were going for an Eko-type vibe but failed miserably, at least in my book.
It certainly is a lot to look at... but when it's strapped on, you forget about it.

The yellowed look of the inlays on the guitar above helps quite a bit. Still not my thing though.

Do you not think they look like they are fashioned from mashed urinal pineapple chunks?

These aren't offset. At all.
Offset doesn't mean "non strat/les paul body". Nope. It means it has an offset waist.
How many more of these threads are going to go to 10 pages in the offset section?
Are the mods just sleeping on this shit or what?

Maybe my understanding of what the definition of the waistline of the guitar is... is skewed.

The horizontal bar is off on that level.

It's barely offset. It's not even enough to really see without trying to see it. That's not offset in my books.
I'm brainwashed by this forum though, I guess, or at least what this forum used to be.

edit: That is a fucking gorgeous guitar though. Always loved the Rickenbacker Combo bodies.

However, it's offset in another book: the dictionary. :D

Nice try. I happen to have at least 12 different dictionaries here on my shelf and not one has any mention of guitar waists.

it's slightly offset.

Regardless of all of the minutiae, or how it should be indexed on this site, it checks all of the boxes for me. Aesthetics / Sound / Weight / Functionality... and the price was right! Eastwood has a Reverb store where they have the "Make an Offer" option... so I did. And I got a brand new guitar for a couple $100 less than the MAP. I can't justify spending much more than that these days, so I'm happy.

I was looking at a lot of different guitars, but I'm glad that I went with this one. It's not for everyone, but no guitar is.

They seem to have a definition for sarcasm, but if you go back a few pages, they should also have one for offset. ;)

Wish I understood the reference... it's probably a good one.

Just read back a few pages... this was a hot topic for a little bit, eh?

Basically saying... it's technically an offset, but most people wouldn't call it that.
