I love flats. They are very different from rounds. They lack the ridges of rounds so they feel nice and smooth, easier on your fingers and frets. The sound in much bassier and thumpy, more like an old school bass sound. You can also leave them on for years or even decades.

Yeah, another flats fan right here. Those high frequencies that I generally EQ out just aren't there to begin with in flats, and the string noise you get from roundwounds isn't there, either.

And just when I thought I was done looking at the Talman TMB30 because of the poplar/mahogany switcheroo they introduce Mint Green. Arghhh...
I'm sure some Fender dealer in '64 looked at the new Duo-Sonic II and thought, "That's not a Duo-Sonic. That's a Mustang".
