yah the stock pickups just don't cut the mustard at all. I even tired 1meg pots. The sound great in an all maple Gibson RD Custom, however!
Oh yeah, they're SD 59's, they work great on many instruments, but maybe not on 12 strings ....
Do you have samples or vid from your new pickups on that guitar ? those are SD antiquity ? right ?

Looks like i'm going to be selling my ESP XJ12 - but the buyer doesn't want the JM pickups or pickguard. Anybody want this setup on the CHEAP?

You mean, just the pickguard and the pickups ?
