Nothing yet. I’ll double check. But they said something in the spring.

Tributes are mega heavy in my experience. If my ASAT Special is 10 pounds I don't want to go near an offset body model. :D

Agreed. My ASAT Classic is about the same, but it is also a 1 7/8" thick Swamp Ash body. The Swamp Ash is because it is a transparent finish. And the thickness is likely due to the extra thickness of the MFD pickups for the ASAT

Super Deep:

Neither the thickness or the choice of a heavy wood would be necessary for a Doheny, just offer solid color finishes and go with a lighter wood.

The Jumbo MFD pickup isn't near as deep, and I'm guessing the Doheny is even shallower (though probably not as shallow as a JM, with the magnet location and direction).

That is GREAT to know.

So, much shallower.

Also... Are those brass plates? Or copper?

G&L launched a new website in the last few days with the current line up.

By the way... No SC-2.

No Tribute Doheny, yet. But it isn't supposed to be out until this summer.

Pickguard delete with crazy quilted top.
Not usually my thing (usually hate figured tops and find them tacky), but this one looks great.
Image

There's also this semi hollow one that appeared at NAMM
Image

They didn't just slap together the Doheny over there. They've been tinkering quite a bit with these by the looks of it.

The semi-hollow has the standard G&L neck with 22 frets and flat heel. I wonder why. I wonder why this isn't the standard for Dohenys in general.

I'm THIS close to ordering a Shell Pink over Empress Doheny. I wish I could try one out up here in Portland, OR :squint:
