Good people of osg.com, I just got a new LPB jazz master and I can't decide if I like the current pickguard or want to change it. Lmk what you think!

I see lots of votes but no comments, so I'll say - mint pickguards and LPB JMs are a match made in heaven!

Yeah, I'd go mint or eggshell. I've seen a few LPB ones that look great with tort, but it takes the right shade of both. I do really like LPB and MOTS.

If you're a millionaire or a baby boomer with lots of disposable income Spitfire can make the perfect piece of tort for that thing, which honestly is what it needs!

Having said that though you could spend like $30 and get a nice mint guard and it'd look great. Yeah though, the one on there now has definitely gotta go.

Thanks for the replies everyone. From what I can tell from a little searching, allparts is still the cheapest option for a pickguard that will fit a MIJ jazzmaster?

IMO, LPB only looks good in white/mint
tort, black, and gold are just OK
anything else is ugly

I'm usually not a fan of the Japanese super red tort, but that combination looks amazing. So it's one vote for keeping it as it is!
