I have an unhealthy obsession with the Japan-exclusive Fender Bottom Master (the dark blue one with the humbuckers and gun-metal hardware). Makes me think that there must be other mainland-only weirdness that I don't know about. What's your fave?

They did a jaguar special in the same gunmetal blue finish that I was obsessed with a while, but now I'm hooked on exclusively white instruments. But there is a white Japanese guitar I'm dying for and it's the Burny H-elt
What is acoustic? Oh, you means a grandpa's guitars? A grandpa's guitars? That's for pussies and grandpas. I think you know it.

Looks like the Jay Turser JT-MG2, with a different headstock shape.

This is a one-of-a-kind I think, but still:
Apparently, a Squier(?) Noko Custom Jazzmaster Special.

K-On is hliarious. Your dedication in tracking down Azusa's guitar is admirable .s_mcsleazy wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2017 7:43 pmso i love the anime k-on. a few nights ago i was on ishibashi and there was a mustang based on one of the characters from k-on's mustang only with a jazzmaster trem. it's sold now but i'll try finding a pic of one.

Was the Squier scandal jag/jm a Japanese exclusive? I remember liking the colour and pickup selection on that one.

I love comp orange mustangs and was trying to get a hold of the BECK sig MG73 for a while. Not a very esoteric Japanese offset but then I'm pretty traditional when it comes to guitars.

Here are my two beloved Mustangs. From Fender Japan. Expensive imported to Germany directly from Japan.
A Fender Mustang MG73 CO OTM ocean turquoise metallic. CIJ, ser.number is R 044872. I don´t know exactly when this Mustang was built. 2004? There where similar models around, from 1991-94? Who knows more about those great Mustangs? The green one is a fantastic sounding Mustang! Nice thin neck, great player!!
The orange one is the MG69 "Beck" model. From 2006? Anyone knows more about dating here? Serial of the orange one is "Made in Japan" U014775. I had serious problems with the trem unit. Fixed it meanwhile. And the stock PU´s sounded very thin. Replaced with Pickup Wizards.
They where not cheap, but I would buy again both. Both are really different to each other. Very inspiring guitars, much fun to play!
The green one is the much "better" guitar of those two, all in all.

Not really an exclusive but the faded out Yamano AVRI is amazing.
