ATTENTION: THURSTON MOORE'S 1960 (circa) FENDER JAZZMASTER WAS STOLEN LAST NIGHT (12-12-12) FROM THE PHILADELPHIA BEST WESTERN (501 N 22ND ST) AROUND MIDNIGHT.

I pinned this so there's no need to "bump" the topic... but yeah, it's pretty damn shitty. These guys haven't had great luck with gear while traveling it seems.

Dunno how you can steal a guitar and live with it.
How can you play that thing and attempt to make songs?
I bet it's hidden under a bed and that thief doesn't know what to do.
I stole my friends pokemon game once.
very in the moment, he had a sweet butterfree.
It then struck me when i got home that i only ever played pokemon with him so i could get his butterfree, but what would i do with it?

It likely not stolen to play, it's stolen to get some cash for drugs. Probably sold cheap to someone who doesn't know the history. Sad.

That was a shitty Best Western, I'm sure someone who was staying there took the opportunity to steal it. Luckily this Best Western is now a Whole Foods so not only Thurston is getting ripped off at this location.
