Greetings,
Newbie over here, hello everyone. I'd like to know how to do a search that excludes anything with the word 'jazzmaster' in it. How would I do this?

Advanced search. Top right corner on the site.

There doesn't seem to be a way to specify that though. I was wondering if there were any syntactical things I could enter.

"Search for keywords:
Place + in front of a word which must be found and - in front of a word which must not be found." Won't that work?

I've gotta be doing something wrong, check it out, the link below was for the search string
+jaguar -jazzmaster +pickup*
Yet 'jazzmaster' shows up in the results.

Re: Excluding search results that contain 'word'
It says under the heading "ignored: jaguar jazzmaster" which I think means that there are too many instances of those words on the site so it leaves them out. The inbuilt search is relatively feeble.
Google generally does a better job, like this for example.
