How much would you pay for this vintage jag?
Hello,
Here's a 1965 Jag, sunburst.
It has suffered obviouly, but I find it kind of really cool.
From the seller :
"It's all original except for :
- Tuners
- volume pot
- One wiring
- One switch
Original tuners, volume pots are in the original case"
What would you pay for it?

As I said in the other thread you posted on this guitar, $2300. Are you selling or buying?

As she is exactly what I like when it comes to worn finishes, as I am not objective (because that one and my PartsJag could be doppelgangers) and if I had the money right now, I'll pay whatever they ask for!!!
Not helping, I know, but
Just buy it and lick your wounds afterwards!!!
Et après je te la rachètes en plusieurs fois

But for real, no more than 2200 euros...less than 2000 euros would be great.

finish on the back is fine, but...
has the top of that guitar been fucked with? It almost looks like the top was stripped and someone amateurishly tried to 're-create' the burst. Something is amiss, for sure.

It's a factory faux burst. It's a shitty post-CBS thing fender did to cover wood defects.

Are we sure? Why only on the front, with the back being normal burst?eggwheat wrote:It's a factory faux burst. It's a shitty post-CBS thing fender did to cover wood defects.

Are those cracks near the forearm counter? If so how deep? Do you have the ability to check it out in person? I wouldn't offer much if I was just going off those pictures honestly.
Have you asked for gut shots?

There's no crack on the guitar, only scratches less tan 1mm deep.
I didn't check it in person before buying, but I bought it to some french guitar collector. The guy was enough knowledgeable to make me feel confident.
I have no regret, it's probably the best sounding and most inspiring guitar I've ever owned, and the playability is just perfect!
