The original Klusons on my 1966 Jazzmaster are... well, they're doing what 50-year-old Klusons do, which isn't so good for a guitar that gets played daily.
I'm thinking about taking them out and dropping in a shiny new set of nickel-plated Gotoh lookalikes. Any tips on making them look not-so-shiny so it's not-so-obvious?
How to "relic" new tuners for an old guitar?

Gotoh makes relic tuner sets.
