Thanks Doug. I owe you a debt of gratitude too! I went to your "Buildup Of A 1963 Jaguar" article many times during my project. It was cool that it was a white Jag too!

Glad you could use it as a resource!
I had alot of fun doing that one and documenting it. I have tons of other photos and info on other projects that are on my "to do" list of doing similar articles...

Awesome! Glad to hear the Van Dees worked out for you. I'm about to use it again as well..shooting a tele and a VI this week.Regan wrote: Thanks! It did take a long time. I got frustrated a few times. Witithout your all's help I could not have done it! I mean that,.....there is no way in the world it would have turned out decent if I hadn't found this place. Glimmertwin, your post about getting some Fullerplast back in September of '07 is what led me to that stuff at Van Dees. I have to give Bill at the ReRanch a lot of the credit too. His instructions at ReRanch 101 are fantastic!

Yeah, it worked great! I was really set on trying to finish my Jag in a vintage correct way, but that Fullerplast was hard to find out about. I love it! It really is good stuff. Now I have plenty to last me for a while.glimmertwin wrote:Awesome! Glad to hear the Van Dees worked out for you. Thanks! I like the tort guard too. It had shrunk a little, but not too bad for 42.5 years of aging.
The neck stamp says JUL 65. Fender started binding the Jaguar necks in August of 1965, so I guess I got one of the last ever made without binding. They added the block inlays in 1966.

Re: 1965 Jaguar Project Finally Finished
Unfortunately, no. I did take some seperate photos of the parts before I started, and I took some of the painting progress. Luckily I had downloaded a few to my computer. However, my wife took the memory card to work and let her boss have it so she could get some copies made of some other pics that were on there. My card got lost. That kind of got me down, and unless she ever comes up with that memory card, I don't have too much.
