Wow, color me impressed. That is an incredible turnaround, and that poor fretboard looks great now!

I'm really digging the EC vibe it has. The right tort will only play it up more, although a black anodized guard would really look hot on that thing, too.

Nice rescue. Nice guitar.

Unbelievable! I thought I was only into Tortoise Shell guards until I saw this. It's perfect as is.

Good save! That neck came up better than I expected. I know it's a shame a vintage body got hacked up etc, but those "over-rounded" contours look very comfy and inviting to play.

That looks amazing - great save there OP!

For what it's worth, I wouldn't change a thing on it now - the brown/black guard combination actually looks great.

Another hacked up Jazzmaster saved - well done!!

Good god that looks amazing as is. If you take it bak to blond though it would be an honorable endeavor.
