1966 JM try-out decals? Let's set the standard here and now!!!

I know this has been debated before but we really need to set this one straight:

AFAIK on the early 1966 JM's with blocks and binding there were some oddities regarding testing new headstock decals for the model.
The most common one was this post transition logo:

But then there were these:

NOTE THE ALL-BLACK "FENDER" SCRIPT.

On the later "R" decals, dedicated to 1968 and forward guitars, the Fender script was outlined with gold.

When did the "R" logos begin?

And did Fender go back to the transition logo when the block and binding necks arrived?

???

I don't see any all-black Fender script. There's a gold outline, even if it's a bit thinner than on the decals you show.

On my screen, I don't see it. Sorry, I need to check it out at work tomorrow but I've seen these pics before and always though of them as all-black...  ???

I could maybe agree on the OLY, but not on the Firemist Silver one.. Did the years darken the gold ink? I'm pretty sure all of these were clear coated.

The gold decal looks awesome!

Yes it does indeed! Imagine a charcoal frost D+B maching headstock with that decal  :?

I've asked Nick at Vintage Mojo if he can produce such a decal and he said Yes, but he'll prio the more standard decals at the time.
Someone knows where I can find the nearest woodchipper to throw my pieces of junk into?
