Re: Epiphone ET-270
To complete this................
Heres what I came up with to put the Bazz Fuss in there. Couldn't find any diagrams online so there you go.
Don't forget to ground the tremolo/bridge!!!

Re: Epiphone ET-270
This was my first guitar that my dad gave me when I was 14. He had bought it in the early seventies, so it had seem better days. But I always liked it. Problem was there was a chunk that broke off the nut, so I had to cut a new slot for the low E string. Eventually I popped off the nut to replace it but never ended up getting one. I found the guitar the other day while I was cleaning and I'd really like to fix it up to play again. My first step is finding a new nut. I know the length is about 1.68" or 42.672 mm, but does anyone else have any other specs like height or string spacing? I'd prefer to buy a pre slotted nut than to have to cut the slots myself.

Shorty,
What pickups did you end up installing in this Epi?

Hey what's up man, late reply hope you've got your project all together now but as for the pick ups they were actually epiphone generic humbuckers likely came off a "dot" or something. Picked em up for free from a generous guitar tech at a local music shop a while back.
As for your question about rusted bridge/hardware hmm polish might not be enough in you're case but since this post I've cleaned one of my rusted motorcycle tanks out really well by using just straight up apple cider vinegar! Submerge the hardware heat and agitation will eat up the rust faster.
