UV aging oly white / 25 hrs. sunlight sample
about 25 hrs of sunlight total....really nice natural FL sunlight aging effect....the lighter triangle hasn't seen any sunlight, the other one has about 4 six-hour sessions.
I've also found that misting real saltwater on metal parts is great for rust aging too.

ahh. no worries...my oly white (in my avatar) is reranch....i think his site or maybe stewmac states that clear over oly tends to yellow over time, and that fender actually didnt clear over their oly's...I dont know how accurate i am in quoting that, but I believe i read that ...oh you know who has that on his site...http://home.provide.net/~cfh/fender.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;painted wood wrote:Reranch Oly and a few passes of reranch clear....sorry, probably should have mentioned that.

from reranch site:nitro cellulite wrote:like that reranch olympic white has a touch of blue in it
While very white the color has a slight blue component in the mix. It can be clear coated to give an aged yellow appearance although it is believed that Fender did not clear coat the color because of this very reason. A white primer coat will serve well to prevent any natural color in the wood from bleeding through.
