66 Jaguar refin Seafoam Green
I thought I only fair to post pictures of serial's Jaguar since I just posted pics of Jay's Jazzmaster.
This one is obviously Alder, and I needed to preserve the neck pocket markings...
At present it has been stripped, stained, fullerplasted, painted, and the first clear applied.... has a few more clears to go.

Yeah, real nice stuff going on. I've got a question if you don't mind. When painting, do you need to do anything to protect the holes for the screws? Or, can you just spray away? Thanks!

No kidding... the color looks killer.
It's just so much fun seeing all these projects/restorations in progress.

Does it have tint on it in those pictures or is that just the lighting?
Looks great!

Re: 66 Jaguar refin Seafoam Green
It is somewhat the color, and somewhat fault of the camera. Meaning that the true SFG is bluer than modern reverse engineered colors. It is getting Greener the more I clear coat. The thing is the old style clear coat they use to use was amber colored so the more you clear the more it changes from the original color. Most people think that the Nitro clear aged over time, which it did, but It also discolored it as it was applied. The problem w/ most modern finishes trying to replicate vintage finishes they dont get the variance in color that comes form an amber clear. TV Yellow and Fender Blondes are a prime example of that. Here is a short write up on the TV-Yellow finish I did. http://curtisnovak.com/vintage/TV-Yellow/ I have one coming on Blondes too but it is basically the same story ALL Fender blondes from the early 50's the the late 60's was the SAME white paint the yellowing came from different brands of clear.
I will try to post more pictures today, you should see more green in it.

You rule Curtis. That's going to be gorgeous. It does look bluish on my monitor. I'm still on the fence for what color I'm going to use for my bass VI I'm bulding. It's either SF Green, Daphne, or Fiesta. I use the Luthier's Mercantile lacquer, which I believe is McFaddens. When you first open the can you see this almost golden color lacquer. It goes on nice too. Have you tried chromabase Fiesta? Is it the right color?

Hey Rob! was not aware you were into Offsets...
Yes this color starts on the blue side, parity it was the blue sky reflecting in the finish. Here it is w/ a few more clear coats it is getting more green.
