good job so far.. I feel the same way as Doug about it being like an old friend. I also like that color, I'd probably change it too but I definitely wouldn't kill myself to get to it

yeah i like the color too.  i just feel like i should try and bring it back to an original fender finish.  that is the last priority for me too though.  some other members here were nice enough to hook me up on some electronics and a tailpiece (thanks fullerplast and jetset!)  so i'm getting close to having all original parts put together.  just need to get lucky on ebay with a bridge.
