Hi,
Have a look at this link:
http://vintagehofner.mysite.wanadoo-mem ... sol33.html

I have to rewire the guitar that has been undone of all elements. pots and switches.
It came in a bag...

I figured out how all the controls should work but one item remains a mistery to me.
It's the "wah-wah" control (the white sort of sliding knob on the picture left of the sliders for the volume control of each pu)

Any body with a hint?

I tried to get info from Hofner Germany but no luck...

Thanks,
Tarzan

I would think it would be wired as a master tone knob.

Edit: I just added a vote for the top ?  :)

I agree .. the "wah-wah" effect is likely to be a tone control. The Seymour Duncan website has schematics for wiring various guitars (although not Hofners) and you should be able to adapt one of their tone pots to your needs .. it's basically just a pot and a capacitor.

I don't know if you've seen it before, but there's a Hofner forum .. they might have more in depth info specific to Hofners:

Yep it must be a sort of tone control.
Thanks for the link to the hofner forum UK.
Solution is getting closer.
Cheers,
