...oh - and the little black lines in the humbucker in the schematic above indicate the two coil windings.

I keep coming back to this thread, time and time again. I just love the way this guitar rose from the ashes, so to speak.

Saw that fugly voxificated body for sale & was too appalled to even dream of resurrection.
Fun thread to read through tonight - gotta say, hair stood right straight up upon butchering the Coronado headstock, however the end result justified the means. This is better than binge watching an awesome mini-series.

"butchered" is a useful keyword - pretty much anything that could relate to guitar nightmares.
"chiseled" "chisel" "amateur job" "hacked" etc.

I would sure like to know what kind of an idiot it would have taken to do that to a Jazzmaster. Certainly not like anyone I have ever known.
