I have been going through some old parts and noticed something I had not seen before. There appears to be a difference between early bridge assemblies. The legs of the bridge have a hole on the top for the adjustment tool. There seems to be a version with a small hole and another with a larger hole. Can anyone expand on my observation. Is one earlier than the other? If so, when did the change occur?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Steve

Re: Offset and Mustang bridge
The order seems to be:
Bridges with domes over the posts: 1958-1969ish
Bridges with smaller holes but no domes: 1969 onward
Bridges with larger holes are newer reissues or by Staytrem.
Also, you can check to see if they are SAE or metric. Metric parts will be newer.
