Having said that, I also play a baritone 25.5-27.5" scale fanned-fret 12-string acoustic with a 1 7/8" nut, so big necks don't completely turn me off. I just love the slinky little ones even more

Just came to the realization that this project is about reviving the stang to customize what I've always wanted. It's kinda like the white has become old hat and I want to be excited about playing it again! It's gonna feel like a whole new guitar with deep roots!!

It's not the biggest deal in the world and you can do what you want with your guitar, but it does sort of tickle me to see someone proudly melting the buttons off the original 50 year old tuners on their vintage guitar and being happy about that.

Haha you have a point there! At first I didn't dare then I said screw it its gonna be cool! Yeah I mean ihate to destroy original stuff but she's had a lot of mods already. Thought one more wouldn't hurt

His name is Steve Ryder and does awesome work. He's local to me as well so I didn't have to ship it. He did a candy green on a parts stang I put together and it was gorgeous! Sold it unfortunately. But he's the man especially if you have a fender.
