Lookin very handsome, wear on the body looks right at home. What are those two dots/holes on the pickguard near the volume knob?

Thanks! I have no idea about the holes, I bought the guard from another forum member here (who told me about them) - I think maybe they were for switches, but I can't think of switching options that a standard Mustang doesn't have.

single sized hums with coil splitting would be my guess! those look to be about the right size for the lil buttons you see on 80s ibanez and the fender leads... to my eye at least.

Still got it - it's primered and has a top coat of red at the moment, but would need wet sanding. I have a very old Mustang VI project I will complete one day, I am contemplating using that body unless I can get one made specifically.
