are the horns reshaped?
maybe the photo is distorted, but the cutaways look too big. If so, I'd start looking for a body, before I dumped a bunch of work into that one.

I agree that something looks a little funny about the cutaways/horns, particularly on the bass side.

The strap knob is def off, but that's no biggie.. Ask for more pictures!

This looks absolutely amazing...I wouldn't touch that finish, just sort out the playability and any non original parts

Thanks for the replies... For the price, I think I'm going to have to jump on it. I want a Danocaster Aztec Gold refin eventually... I'm trying to complete my set! Still need to find an SG, Jag, and well, everything else

That is some of the most intense checking I've ever seen. Almost like a well aged bench inside a baseball dugout.

Congrats on a killer strat. As they say, it's yours to do as you please. but man that refin has got some serious mojo, the kind that can't be duplicated. It's definitely one of a kind, congrats again and look forward to seeing the outcome.
