What kind of fool parts out a vintage guitar?? So happy you saved the guitar looks like you know exactly what you are doing. Looking forward to seeing more of this beauty.

I haven't seen this thread before, don't know how I missed it. Nicely dome man! Great rescue there. Guitar is looking really wonderful.

Dude, that is like my dream Jazzmaster. Don't refinish it.

Gorgeous.
I laughed out loud when I saw that you pulled the inlay out of the Coronado II neck. Great solution, but it solves a problem whilst creating a problem. LOL.

I can't tell from pictures how that finish job is, but it sure looks good from here. Really unique mix of LPB and OTM

The refinish isn't too great, but I love the color - it is like a really yellowed-out Ocean Turquoise.

...allllllmost done with the clearcoats - it'll be ready to buff out in a few weeks. I decided to re-do it in Ocean Turquoise Metallic.

Inca Silver / Ocean Turquoise / Shoreline Gold / The closest thing I could find to Charcoal Frost at the car parts store
