if it gets refinished it will be pretty much the same color, just with some more care put into the job. It's good for now though - i'm really happy with how it turned out!BatDog wrote:Great save!

That thing looks really great. Love the fretboard inlay solution too. Thank you for sharing the story and the process. I love all the detail shots. Just good info to have for the community.

dude but it needs a mint/parchment pickguard to be PERFECT!

I found a white '65 Jazzmaster pickguard a few months ago, but it has shrunk so much that the screw next to the output jack would be inside the routing cavity. I'll be doing some experiments with a heat gun to see if I can stretch it out a little.
